Tonya D. Drew

Tonya D. Drew serves as Secretary/Chaplain of Hart Ministries, bringing both
administrative excellence and spiritual care to her leadership role. With a professional
background as a Medical Secretary and Medical Office Manager serving in Contra Costa and
Alameda County offices, she combines strong organizational skills with a heart of
compassion.
A Legacy of Ministry and Service
Tonya is also a Certified Christian Coach, committed to helping individuals grow spiritually,
navigate life’s challenges, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose. Her ministry
experience spans decades and includes serving as an Evangelism Captain, Leader of
Restoration and Healing Ministry, Choir Leader, Altar Worker, and New Member Teacher.
She has been actively involved in outreach efforts such as food pantry ministry, community
center leadership, and service with Acts Full Gospel Church and Wings of Healing Ministry
Church. As the founder and leader of Burden Bearers Ministry, she later chose to merge her
ministry efforts with Hart Ministries, strengthening the mission of community outreach and
Gospel-centered service.
Foundations of Faith and Family
Raised in Oakland, California, alongside four brothers and three sisters, Tonya grew up in a
loving family rooted in faith and music. A graduate of Castlemont High School and Alameda
College, she later married and built a family grounded in Christ. After dedicating her life
fully to the Lord, she furthered her studies in evangelism at AFCC, deepening her
commitment to sharing the Gospel.
A Mission Driven by Scripture
Her life scriptures, 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Romans 8:28, reflect her belief in transformation
through Christ and her trust that God works all things together for good. She loves people,
carries a deep passion for outreach ministry, and is devoted to spreading the Gospel with
compassion, wisdom, and bold faith.
